Innovations in Neuromodulation

Innovations in Neuromodulation

We would like to invite you to join us for ‘Innovations in Neuromodulation–From Scientific Possibility to Viable Company – How to Make the Journey’, our seventh educational event designed for the neuromodulation innovation and investment community. This event will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada. It is part of the official pre-conference activities of the INS 16th World Congress. Bringing together more than 200 leaders from the global neuromodulation and investment communities, this unique gathering aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and visions for the rapidly evolving field.

At the INS Innovations Day, innovators have the opportunity to share their company narratives with venture capitalists, clinicians, engineers, and industry professionals. Aligned with the theme of the day, participating companies are invited to spotlight the challenges and advantages of innovation specific to their regions. The agenda for the day includes multiple panels and talks, ensuring that all willing participants have the opportunity for podium time, either individually or as part of panel discussions.

In addition to the presenting companies, senior Venture Capital investors from major corporations will be present. This offers an excellent platform for you and your company to showcase achievements, forge new connections, learn from peers, assess progress, and become more competitive and successful

We encourage you to consider participating in our emerging company panels and, if you are interested, submit your application* to join a panel at your earliest convenience.

* Each company selected to participate in the emerging company panels will be kindly requested to provide a $2,500 US unrestricted grant to the International Neuromodulation Society, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Through our theme of ‘From Scientific Possibility to Viable Company – How to Make the Journey’, we are presenting a series of plenary talks that will explore the journey of:

  • 01.
    Creating a concept
  • 02.
    Formulating a company
  • 03.
    Executing a business plan
  • 04.
    Integrating entry into the market

We will be looking at different aspects of this in the neuromodulation world from AI to batteries to nanotech and much more. In addition watch out for our special closing plenary which promises to be a very stimulating and eye-opening presentation!

The 2024 program has been crafted with several key objectives in mind

  • Identify and discuss essential data collection by commercializing companies to ensure its relevance for future approval and reimbursement applications.
  • Understand the entire lifecycle of innovations, from inception to funding, approval, reimbursement, and market entry.
  • Explore the intricacies of establishing and safeguarding intellectual property.
  • Learn about available public scientific initiatives for potential partnerships.
  • Gain insights into current and future investment strategies and challenges in the device market across different continents.
  • Discover emerging companies and the scientific foundations of their innovative therapies.
  • Network with leaders in innovation, investment, basic science, and clinical practice within the neuromodulation space.
