Public Education Event

"Understanding Neuromodulation of the Brain and Spinal Cord"

As part of their educational missions, the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) and the Canadian Neuromodulation Society, will offer a free public event.

Parkview East 2+3
Vancouver Convention Centre
East Building
Saturday, 11 May
13:30 - 18:00

This event is open to patients and their family and friends facing conditions like chronic pain, Parkinson’s disease or tremor. Interested members of the public, media representatives, and professionals are also welcome.

Local and international medical experts and patients will share their knowledge during the afternoon with the aim of raising awareness of potentially life-altering neuromodulation therapies.

Carefully curated, this event aims to spotlight challenging health issues that can be effectively managed with established and medication-free therapies, such as deep brain stimulation or spinal cord stimulation.

Dedicated Q&A sections have been incorporated into the program so that audience members will have time to ask questions.

This free-of-charge public event precedes the International Neuromodulation Society (INS) 16th World Congress, whose scientific program takes place in Vancouver 13 May through 16 May, 2024.

Registration for the Public Education event is now open!
